The Salomon Origins Topaz is cut with a great shape for quick and stable carved turns on hardpack snow. The Topaz are noticeably stiffer and offer more rebound than the lighter weight Origins skis, so we recommend this model for a slightly more advanced skier or a skier that aspires to ski faster and likes to ski more varied terrain. With this ski is it great for progression with construction of the ski allowing for intermediate to advanced skiers to really get the best out of it so weather you are skis on the groomed piste or checking out the slope side powder this versatile ski has something to offer everybody.
Salomon L9 Binding Included: These skis come with a Salomon L9 binding, which is a lightweight track-style binding that has a DIN Range of 3-9. These bindings are easy to adjust and are a great compliment for the skis!
Composite Core: This ski features a composite core, which has a softer flex and is lighter weight than wood cores. Junior, entry level, and sometimes even women’s models have this type of core to make skiing more enjoyable, and less work.
Square Tail: These skis have a square shaped tail, which adds stability to turns on hardpack as well as very steep terrain. Probably not a park ski, though 🙂
Salomon Pulse Pad: A layer of rubber along the edges and in certain zones of the ski for a smoother ride and and improved snow contact.
